Meet Our Singers

Ben Dollar

Director/Bass

Ben is a graduate of Georgia State with a B.A. in English, currently pursuing his M.A. in English at Auburn. He joined the Georgia Tech Catholic Center Schola Cantorum in 2015, and served as Director from 2018 until he transferred to Georgia State. He is the inaugural Director of Concordi Laetitia. Apart from his choral duties, he is a proficient pianist, organist, and violinist.

Charlotte Dennison

Alto

Charlotte is a music education and neuroscience student at Georgia State University. She studies music cognition, and plays cello in the university orchestra. While living in Savannah, Charlotte sang in the Savannah Compline Choir at Christ Church Anglican, as well as the Savannah Cathedral Basilica of St John the Baptist Schola Stella Maris. 

Christian Sims

Baritone

Christian is currently pursuing a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. He began singing at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in 2014. In early 2020, he helped found the St. Gregory Schola at St. Monica's Catholic Church, serving as director until mid 2022. While at Georgia Tech, he sings with the Chamber Choir and Catholic Center choirs in addition to Concordi Laetitia, which he joined in early 2022. He also plays piano and is a terrible violinist. Outside of music and school, he enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, playing disc golf, and watching baseball.

Connor Lawson

Tenor

Connor is a Ph.D. student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech. Connor grew up playing piano and saxophone, and sang throughout his undergraduate at the University of Alabama and at Georgia Tech during his graduate program. Outside of the music world, Connor enjoys hiking, ultimate frisbee, & graphic design.

Genevieve Connors

Alto

Genevieve found her passion for singing at a very young age and has been singing in church since the age of seven. In high school and middle school she participated in Honor Chorus, All-State Chorus and was the soprano member of her State Championship Women’s Trio. She followed her passion to the musical theatre world and from 2017-2020 she performed around Atlanta in multiple semi-professional theatre productions a year. She is currently an Assistant Mathematics teacher at Holy Spirit Prep and directs the children's choirs, Pueri Cantores and Bella Voce, at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. 

Greg Leopold

Bass

Greg is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Science. He is currently the Quality Assurance Analyst at a Fintech start up. Greg has been singing from a young age, and in high school, was regularly selected to attend All State Choir and All State Reading choir. Prior to his graduation from Georgia Tech, he sang with the Schola Cantorum, and now sings exclusively with Concordi Laetitia. Outside of the music world, Greg enjoys hiking, ultimate frisbee, & graphic design.

Terrence Connors

Baritone/Director

Terrence is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He is currently a Chemistry teacher at Blessed Trinity in Roswell. A former member of the Schola Cantorum and Georgia Tech Chamber Choir prior to graduation, he now sings with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, in addition to his staff singer role at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Valeska Lawson

Soprano

Valeska is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She is currently a Project Specialist at Chick-fil-A. Singing from a young age up through the present, she was an active member of both the Georgia Tech Chamber Choir and Schola Cantorum at Georgia Tech, helping to found the latter group back in 2015. Valeska enjoys spending her free time with her husband, especially hiking and playing board games.
